  • 2 ⅛ cup water
  • 6 packets of NutraSweet Natural Zero Calorie Sweetener
  • ⅜ inch fresh ginger root. peeled and chopped.
  • ½ inch cinnamon stick
  • 2 pods of green cardamom
  • 5 whole cloves
  • ½ bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • ½ teaspoon peppercorn
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 ½ teaspoons black tea or Darjeeling tea (for a more authentic taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine water, packets of NutraSweet Natural, ginger root, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, bay leaves, fennel seeds, and peppercorns together in a pot.
  2. Cover and boil for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove pot from heat, add tea leaves, and allow to steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir milk into tea mixture and bring to a boil; strain tea into tea cups.
